Animal coloring pages

Animals appear all through the stories of Islam, and children love them. Our animal coloring pages bring together the friendly creatures from our picture books and videos: camels crossing the dunes, a meadow of lambs, a kitten and her turtle friend, a fox guarding a treasure chest and a sleepy fox curled up under the moon.

About these pages

Most are big, simple shapes with thick lines for toddlers and preschoolers. Each page has a short note for the grown-up that connects the animal to the story it comes from, such as the Prophet ﷺ looking after sheep as a young man or the caravans of camels that crossed Arabia, together with questions to ask and color tips for sandy camels and orange foxes.

The pages are a gentle way into a conversation about kindness to animals, which Islam teaches from the very start: every creature is cared for by Allah, and caring for them is a good deed. Every page is free to print for your family and classroom, on US Letter or A4.
