Masjid al-Haram, Mecca
Masjids of the World, Part 1
Free coloring pages
Our Masjids of the World coloring pages are line drawings of real mosques, drawn carefully enough that a child can count the minarets, find the arches and notice the shape of each dome, then compare one masjid with the next. The series begins with the places Muslims hold most dear, Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah and the Al-Aqsa compound in Jerusalem, and travels on to Turkey, the Emirates, Mali, Morocco, Pakistan, Britain and the United States.

For parents & teachers
Every sheet carries one short fact under the picture, and each has its own page here with a little more history for the grown-up, two questions to ask and color tips (the Green Dome really is green, and the Dome of the Rock is gold). Most suit children of five to eight. Each part of the series ends with an open page for drawing or designing a masjid of their own.
Teachers use the series for a “masjids around the world” unit with a map on the wall, and families often color one before visiting a new masjid. Every page prints on US Letter or A4, free for your family and classroom.
Print a whole pack in one PDF, with a cover and a page about our books at the back.
