About this page

Printed on the sheet: What shape is its dome? How many minarets does it have?

After visiting the great masjids of Mecca, Madinah and Jerusalem, this page brings it home: an empty frame for your child to draw the masjid you go to. It works best after a visit, or with a photo on your phone to look at. Notice the shapes together first. Is the dome round, pointed or missing? How many minarets are there, if any? Plenty of masjids are converted houses or halls, and they count just as much.

Talk about it

  • What shape is our masjid's dome, and how many minarets does it have?
  • What is your favorite thing about going to the masjid?
