Dua for entering the masjid

When: As you walk into the masjid

For parents & teachers

Teaching this dua

A beautiful picture for children: the masjid door is a door to Allah's mercy, and we ask Him to open it wide. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ told us to say this as we go in, and to say the partner dua as we leave. Practice at home before your next visit, then say it together at the masjid door, holding hands. Many families also step in with the right foot first; your child will enjoy remembering which foot is which.
