About this video
Goodnight Dua is a slow, gentle song built around the dua the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said when he lay down to sleep: Bismika Allahumma amutu wa ahya, “In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live” (Sahih al-Bukhari 6324). It is set to soft pictures of night skies, moons and stars, and lasts just over three minutes, about as long as tucking in. It plays here on our own site, so there are no adverts and no suggested videos when it ends.
Try this
- Play it once as the lights go down, then say the dua together without the music.
